Saturday morning at the business district, you can tell it’s a weekend cos the area’s pretty empty. Off to the banks to update $tuff.
Went to my first wine appreciation session. A very, very informal after-dinner gathering for bout seven of us. This here is a bottle of champagne beer. Was told there aren’t many of these around here. Instead of grapes, its wheat done via the champagne process. Strong beer taste and very dense. Might be the best of both worlds kinda thing for some people.
And what I bought from the shop a day earlier. S$35 +S$39 I believe.
Dinner at Dempsey Hill’s Barracks. That’s the Apple Cider Butterscotch Cake for dessert, excellent, more than made up for the average veal.
Outside the Bandai office. So close yet so far….
A lazy weekend afternoon in the heartlands, Toa Payoh.
My new S$25 pedometer. Hmmm, after Sunday's walk, not that accurate but I guess it's quite impossible to 100% accurate.
More food! Damn fine steak at Angus House Takashimaya.
