Hotel Security
Seen one of these in your hotel rooms before? This here is my hotel fridge in Tokyo. The moment you take one of the cans out of its slot, the check-out desk would immediately know about it, even if you replace it a minute later.
So when you check out, it'll be reflected in your bill and you have spend probably a few minutes explaining that you only took it out cos you never seen one of those before. I guess it's a little harder to explain than the porn channel in your bill.
So ...er.... does this count as a food or drink entry?

wow that's really smart of them....to go allll the way to do such a thing.
Hi there!! wow! I missed lots of your posts about your tavel in Japan!
Yeah,Ive seen that one already. My hubby explained so no choice but to drink the can I took out.
But it was so unique, wasnt it?
galinusa: hehe
seredipity: hi there! how's it going down under?
ghee: haha...u back from manila? well, i think if u explained to the front desk that u returned the can immediately, it'll be alright.
A friend of mine and his brother apparently found a way to put the drinks BACK from one of these fridges which had a device to prevent you from doing so. His parents got hit with a gigantic bill because the hotel insisted that their fridge was infalliable.
down under has been great so far... =) thanks
This is cool. Japanese innovation rocks...as always.
I havent seen one yet, but thank you for warning us. ;-) I wonder though if a can/bottle just accidentally falls out, not fair right? hehehe
